Rebuilding a house in Le Marche

Example of a Restoration Project

Work begins at the end of February 2005.

 
The original house before it is taken down.
It is structurally weak and it has no sound foundations.


The original house has been demolished and and all salvageable
material is stacked and stored for re-use.
 
A strong concrete base has been laid upon a ‘breathing’ substructure
and workon the house proper begins.
     
Construction begins on the first phase of the house
and the outer walls are built and linked to the foundations.

 

The inner and outer walls are completed at first floor level.
